Valve Repair & Refurbishment

Where replacement is not the most practical or economical option, we offer valve repair and refurbishment services to restore valves to serviceable condition.

Scope of work:

Disassembly, inspection, and condition assessment
Replacement of seats, packing, seals, and trim components
Lapping and resurfacing of seating faces
Actuator removal and refitting
Functional testing post-repair to confirm serviceability
Painting and marking as required
Work is carried out to customer specifications or applicable standards. Suitable for vessels at drydock, plant shutdowns, and capital expenditure reduction programmes

Valve Testing & Hydrostatic Testing

We provide basic valve testing services to support quality assurance requirements — including third-party witnessed testing where required by class surveyors or client specifications.

Testing capabilities:

Hydrostatic body and seat testing in accordance with API 598, BS EN 12266, and JIS standards
Pneumatic testing, where applicable
Shell and seat leakage tests
Testing witnessed by third-party inspection bodies or class surveyors (Lloyd's, Bureau Veritas, DNV, ABS) can be arranged
Test reports and certification issued upon completion
Applicable to valves supplied by us or customer-furnished items submitted for testing

Technical Consultation & Product Selection

Selecting the right valve for a specific application involves more than matching a size and pressure rating. Our team brings decades of hands-on experience across marine, offshore, and industrial applications — and we use that to help you get it right the first time.

What we help with:

Valve type and material selection for specific service conditions (fluid, temperature, pressure, corrosion requirements)
Brand and standard equivalency — matching JIS, ANSI, DIN, and API specifications across brands
Cross-referencing customer specifications against available stock or indent options
Advising on suitable alternatives when specified items are unavailable or have extended lead times

Documentation & Certification Support

In regulated industries, the paperwork is as important as the product. We provide a complete documentation package with every order — and can arrange additional certification where projects require it.
